Samsung introduced its two new phones- The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Both phones use Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The S7 is a 5.1″ 1440p AMOLED display based phone with 577 ppi. The phone uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 clocked at 2.15GHz. The phone has a 4GB RAM and 32GB internal ROM. The Micro-SD slot allows you to use memory cards up to 200GB. The Galaxy S7 phone has a 12MP primary camera and a 3000MAh battery with wireless charging support.
The Galaxy S7 Edge is a 5.5″ design with 534ppi. The battery is a larger 3600mAh battery. Just like the previous S6 Edge version, the screen wraps the phone from left and right edges. Fortunately or unfortunately, both the phones use the Micro USB, unlike newer phones (like the LG G5) which started to incorporate USB Type-C.
The Galaxy S7 has two colour variant- Black Onyx and Gold Platinum. The Galaxy S7 Edge variant has an exclusive ‘Silver Titanium’ colour. The phone’s pre-order will start on February 23rd, and it will be available on March 11th.
