Redmi Note 4 to be available in India soon

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will likely use Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SOC instead

Xiaomi is planning to launch its new flagship Redmi Note 4 in India as early as next month. The phone is currently available in China since August 2016 and succeeds its Note 3 handsets which sold more than a million in India. However, the dates are not confirmed as of now.

Difference between the variants

The Chinese variant uses the MediaTek Helio P20 but the Indian version is expected to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 with 2GB, 3GB and 4GB RAM versions. The standard spec is a 5.5-inch HD display and will use MIUI 8 with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.  It will have a unibody metal casing with a 13-megapixel primary camera with dual-LED flash and a 5 Megapixel front-facing camera. It uses a 4100mAh battery. The country of manufacturing for these units are not disclosed. The Note 4 sells for Rs. 8,990 in China.

Currently, Redmi Note 3 16GB and 32GB are available for the following price and colour

Most likely, the Redmi Note 4 would be in the similar price range of Redmi Note 3 when it was launched. As of now, there are no indications of pre-orders either in Amazon India or Flipkart.
