IFA 2016 is all set for September in Berlin and so far it’s known that Microsoft will show off its long rumours Surface Phone lineups. As rumours go, the each of the three models will be aimed towards mid-end, a higher-end and enterprise use respectively.
Most likely, Microsoft will be using the ‘Surface’ lineup will replace ‘Lumia’ series entirely.
One of the models would be using Intel Atom X3 processor with 4GB RAM with a possible internal storage of either 256 GB or 500 GB. Since it will be using Intel x86 chipset, chances are that it can run Win32 apps along with Windows store apps.
It is also expected that Microsoft will be using a camera as exotic as the 41MP PureView cam used in Lumia 1020. As one will expect, Microsoft phones will be using Windows 10 and a possibility of USB Type-C ports. According to a source, the phone’s shell will be either plastic or based on a composite material. The display would be a 5.7″ full HD with Surface Pen and Touch Cover as a choice of add-ons to provide better productivity.
