HTC gives a teaser for its CES 2017 launch
HTC gives a rather vague message about its January 12th launch. The only information you can get out of it is that its ‘for u’.
New Flagship or launch of new lineups?
But its likely the company is launching a set of phones belonging to different price segment. Judging by the number of leaks have been appearing lately, this seems likely. Reports indicate that this smartphone will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU and Adreno 540 GPU. The screen is expected to be a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 X 1440) display that will run HTC Sense 8 UI with Android 7.0 Nougat. The primary camera would be a 12-megapixel camera while the front-facing is assumed to be an 8-pixel. This is likely to be HTC’s flagship model. The battery size is expected to be 3,700 mAh.
Mid-Range Handset launch
It was also rumored that HTC One X10 will also be launched during January. It is likely to be a mid-end smartphone, with a 5.5″ HD display, 2GHz Mediatek Helio P10 and 3GB RAM with 3GB RAM. The One X9 was supposed to launch on News Year’s Day which will be powered by MediaTek Helio X10, 3GB RAM, 13-megapixel primary camera and 5-megapixel front camera, MicroSD card support of up to 2000GB and Android 6.0 out of the box. This will use a 3,000 mAh removable battery. Things looking good for HTC? Time will tell!
