FiiO recently released its 2nd generation X1 portable high-resolution music player, updated with the new design and performance-driven components such as the Texas instruments’ CM5242 DAC controller. These are in an aluminum casing shaped for comfortable holding. The unit has a 2-inch display with a revamped UI, support up to 256 GB Micro SD cards.

Line output can be easily set in system settings.

Utilizes Texas Instruments’ high-quality CM5242, the all new X1 gets higher signal-to-noise ratio and supports full differential line output to achieve balanced line output function, as compared with PCM5142. With dedicated LPF and operational amplifier, we have optimized design of power architecture and circuit at the same time to further improved sound quality of second generation X1/ the all new X1, making better low-frequency quality and depth.

It supports five common major lossless formats: APE/FLAC/WAV/WMA/ALAC at up to 192 kHz/32bit.

Continue to use 2.0-inch color display with a resolution of 320*240, plus characteristic UE operating system (with three built-in color themes available at your choice).

Supports micro SD card up to 256GB. When calculated by 30MB for a piece of lossless music, it can accommodate approximately 8,738 pieces of music. If a piece of song lasts for four minutes, you may listen for 34,952 minutes, i.e. 2,098 hours or 87 days.
